A little place I like to call "HOME"

With Kevin and his new job, I am a "stay at homer"! Partly because we recently moved to Hermiston, OR where there aren't many Speech Therapist openings and partly because we are right around 19 weeks along now and I'm not wanting to commit to a job right before I start my dream job of MOTHERHOOD!! So, my days went from 8:30-5:00 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center...to waking up at around 6:00 to make Kevin a lunch for the day then deciding whether to go on a walk or revisit my pillow. I must say that I'm mighty attached to that pillow :). I've also filled up my free time with lots of traveling lately. Thanks to my cousin falling in love I got to travel to the home base of AZ, see some family, and visit the lake.

Here's Gramps sharing some quality time with Judd

Brooklyn and Christopher put on such a great FATHER'S DAY dinner and performance that Gramps had them autograph his shirt.
They planned and practiced all day to make sure that it would be extra
"Fancy"
It was definitely special! Thanks for being such a great host and hostess kids!
Here's us talking about how some workers that built the dam had lost their lives and their graves are actually in the cement of the dam since that's where they fell to their death. The kids love those creepy details. Well, don't we all? You can see my belly starting to expand in this picture to accommodate baby "what's its name". In a week Kevin and I can start brainstorming names as we'll have it narrowed down to either boy or girl choices.

"All good things must come to an end"
In our rush to make it to Vegas for me to catch my plane, we blew a tire. What do two women, one pregnant, one with a newborn, and two kids in the middle of the AZ desert with a flat tire do? FIX IT! Good thing we listened during our father-daughter tutorials. We knew just what to do and still made it to the airport with time to spare.
Thanks DAD!
The next thing on this "stay at homer's" agenda is to plan my next adventure :). Thanks KEVIN for working so hard so I can play. I sure do love you!

With all of the great things going on in our lives I'm ready to start journaling and I've already proven to myself time and time again that pen to paper journaling is not a habit I am able to keep. I hope this new medium for journaling will help motivate me to document our experiences and stay connected with friends and family. Here it goes...stay tuned!!
