So I took Kevin to Goodwill with me the other day. He resents the Goodwill, let me tell you. At least my love for it anyway. The charm of old things turned anew is a slight obsession of mine, but I think I could say I keep it under control (don't bother asking Kevin's opinion). This date with Kevin to the Goodwill resulted in a few casualties. The hat, pictured below, and an old chair that the farmer who owned that hat likely died in (or at least that's my story for the chair...every thing old has a story). I'm sitting in that chair as I type, with all it's orange and avocado hideous-ness. And I'd like to make up a different story for it since the thought of sitting in the final resting place of an old soul is giving me the eebygeebies (ignore the spelling and sound it out-thanks). This chair will not be moving with us when we take that step. Will NOT. You heard it here Kevin. It was quite the sacrifice in order to spark some mutual love of the Goodwill ;).
These pictures are of Gilbert family night's past. FFA brought a lot of blue jackets to town and tractors to display. If there's ever a tractor display, we shall most definitely attend. I'm finding it's an unwritten rule in this household.
THE HAT Our family night's even get as basic as playing in an empty tent in the backyard. Andy found this more awesome than the tractors AND the fish.
We think this kid is totally rad!
The End.
You are too cute. I love reading your posts.
